As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 206, "Door Locks and Door Retention Components."

WHEN THE CAR WAS AT 55K, THE DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION'S CLUTCHES WERE SLIPPING OUT OF GEAR FROM 1000-3000 RPM AND PRODUCED EXTREME JERKINESS. IT WOULD HAPPEN FROM A STOP AS WELL AS JUST DRIVING IN THAT RPM RANGE. I HAD TO GET MY INPUT SHAFT SEAL AND CLUTCHES REPLACED AT 56K. MIND YOU CLUTCHES ARE SUPPOSED TO LAST 100K ACCORDING TO FORD. ALSO WHILE BACKING UP THE CAR WOULD VIOLENTLY JERK AS THE CLUTCH WAS SLIPPING, IT WAS ALSO DIFFICULT TO GO UPHILL. THE CLUTCH REPAIR MADE IT FEEL BETTER, THE SHUDDER IS COMING BACK IN JUST 1000 MILES AT 57K. I AM AFRAID THAT THE CLUTCHES WILL SLIP AGAIN AND SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL WHILE DRIVING.
