Volvo Vehicles Could Experience Fuel Leaks
Volvo will be recalling certain 2012 S60 and 2012 XC60 vehicles for an incorrect mixture and over application of the under body coating. This application problem could leave ridged icicle like extrusions that could penetrate the fuel lines, causing leaks. Dealers will inspect and remove any excessive coating in the fuel line areas and will replace any fuel lines found to be damaged. Volvo Recalled For Wiring Problem
Volvo is recalling certain 2012 S60, S80, XC60, and XC70 vehicles for a wire harness that could become disconnected when the seats are adjusted. During an accident, the side impact airbags and the lap belt petitioner may not work properly leaving the occupants unprotected. Volvo will inspect and secure the harness as necessary. Owners wanting more information on the problem can contact Volvo at 1-800-458-1552.

Volvo Recalls Vehicles For Software Flaw In ECM
The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced that Swedish automaker Volvo will be recalling over 6,000 2011 vehicles for a problem that could lead to stalling engines. According to the NHTSA, the fuel shut off functionality in the engine control module (ECM) is too sensitive. Under certain conditions, fuel may be cut off to the engine leading it to stall.
