Automobile Back Up Cameras And Convex Mirrors
A recent proposal made by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) would have mandatory back up cameras on all vehicles as early as 2015. While the plan is receiving support from insurance industries, traffic analysts and car manufacturers, some feel that the use of cameras is an expensive solution that could be solved simply by installing convex side mirrors.

The 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show
As the doors open to the public for this years Los Angeles Auto Show, it is guaranteed to be fun for the whole family. The event allows the automobile companies to showcase their upcoming models and technologies as well as display their futuristic concept cars.
One of the most talked about cars of the show is GM’s new Chevrolet Volt. Winning the Motor Trends car of the year award, Automobile magazine car of the year award, and the 2011 Green Car of the Year, the volt beat out a host of hybrid and electric cars including the Nissa Leaf, Ford Fiesta, Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, Honda Fit and Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. Mercedes Recalls Cars For Steering Problem
Mercedes-Benz is recalling 85,000 2010 C-Class and 2010-2011 E-Class automobiles for problems with the steering. According to Mercedes, a fitting on the high pressure power steering line may have not been tightened enough which could lead to a leak. As a result, the driver may not be able to control the vehicle under circumstances that require maximum power steering. Continue reading
