Jeep Ranks High In Complaints Of Death Wobble
The “Death Wobble” has been tagged as the “Jeep Death Wobble” because the problem seems to be more prevalent in Jeeps. The wobble, however, is not only found in Chrysler vehicles, but has also been reported in Ford, Toyota, and other popular automobile manufacturers. Marathon Seat Cover Recall
Seat cover manufacturer ‘Marathon’ is recalling certain model seat covers because they are made of a heavier thread which makes them not compatible with seats containing side airbags. The heavier fabric could interfere with the full deployment of the airbag in the event of an accident. Marathon will notify recorded customers of the recall through mail, and will replace the seat covers free of charge. Owners may contact Marathon at 1-800-735-2769. Continue reading

Jeeps Grand Cherokee Investigated For Vulnerable Gas Tanks
After receiving a petition from the Center for Auto Safety, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said it would start an investigation into a defective gas tank design for Jeeps Grand Cherokee. It is estimated that up to three million Grand Cherokees built between 1993-2004, have gas tanks that are too vulnerable to fires after a rear impact. Continue reading
