Hankook Tire America Corp. (HTAC) has announced a recall for almost 20,000 Dynapro AS P-metric radial tires (size P265/70R17 113S RH03). According to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) the tires failed to satisfy the company’s internal performance standard when the tires were subjected to extreme conditions. The problem is being blamed on premature wearing of the sidewalls which could lead to a blowout and a potential accident. Continue reading →
