VW Passat Leaking Diesel Fuel

Volkswagen is recalling certain 2012 Passat vehicles because over time they could be susceptible to fuel leaks. According to VW, some vehicles may have been built with a diesel fuel filter element that does not seal correctly. The leaking fuel, in the presence of an ignition source could lead to an engine fire. VW will be notifying owners of the problem starting in May, and will replace the diesel fuel filter elements with a new one. Fire Hazard For Porsche 911 Carrera S

Porsche will be recalling certain 2012, 911 Carrera S sports cars because the fuel line could disconnect at the quick disconnect connector. The problem is being balmed on the fuel line coming into contact with a coolant line causing it to disconnect.
