The 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show
As the doors open to the public for this years Los Angeles Auto Show, it is guaranteed to be fun for the whole family. The event allows the automobile companies to showcase their upcoming models and technologies as well as display their futuristic concept cars.
One of the most talked about cars of the show is GM’s new Chevrolet Volt. Winning the Motor Trends car of the year award, Automobile magazine car of the year award, and the 2011 Green Car of the Year, the volt beat out a host of hybrid and electric cars including the Nissa Leaf, Ford Fiesta, Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, Honda Fit and Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. GM Recalls Cadillac SRX Crossovers
General Motors is recalling almost 4,000 Cadillac SRX crossovers to fix a power steering problem that could lead to engine fires. There has been one report of an unattended SRX that developed a fire in the engine compartment, but no other crashes or injuries are linked to the problem. GM says it believes only a small number of the recalled vehicles are affected. Owners will be notified about the recall and their vehicles will be repaired at no charge. Continue reading
GM Recalls 2010 Cadillac SRX
General Motors is recalling almost 4,000 2010 Cadillac SRX crossover vehicles world wide over a the possibility that there could be damage to the steering line. GM told dealers that “some of these vehicles could have a line that was not crimped correctly during manufacturing which may have damaged the line.” If the line was damaged, a power steering fluid leak may develop.
